Web Developer and Designer

It all started from the pandemic. Everything was to be put on hold and we were on a lockdown. From this, businesses were failing and ended up closing. Most of the businesses that failed were small businesses. I was observing everything that was going on at that time and started to think what can I do to improve myself. What does the future hold?

Then I notice something.

I notice that most of those businesses that went down, went down because they lack that online presence they need for their business to stay alive. I felt bad for all those small businesses that had to closed. I thought about how this affected their families. I also though on how I can help them. Then a good friend of mine recommended something that I never imagine myself doing.

“Richard, How about be a Web Designer?”

What? Start studying again at the age of 38? Can this be possible? Yes it can. Thankfully, we live in times where everything is at our fingertips thanks to all the content that is online. So many tools people can use to learn anything and be successful at it. So I took a chance and started learning HTML and CSS online at LinkedIn Learning. It has all the tools and resources so you can learn just about anything in this platform. They have great educators that can teach you step by step about creating stunning and functional websites. After a few months of learning and practicing I was able to land a client for an online nutrition store called Ocala Nutrition Center.

As of now, I run a small Web Design Agency dedicated to help small businesses get online and take advantage of the market that can increase their profits. I will continue to serve the small business community with my services so we can all thrive.
